Project Information
This project interfaces an Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) with the 8051 Microcontroller in this comprehensive project. Unlike other microcontrollers such as PIC, Arduino, and AVR, the 8051 does not have a built-in ADC. To interface any sensor with the 8051, an external ADC must be used. For instance, if you want to measure temperature using the LM35 Temperature Sensor, which provides analog voltage output, an ADC is required. Discover the ADC0804 and its seamless integration with the 8051 Microcontroller in this tutorial, enabling the conversion of analog signals to digital format for further processing by digital processors.
